Saw your post, this is what I do when I have fence row work. Push it together will my mini excavator, burn it, roll it around and reburn pile and stumps next year. I dig a hole next to the pile, bury rocks, old fence pieces, that doesn't settle. Following year, load up stumps and make another pile. In two years, stumps will burn.
