I had the same surgery 23 years ago. I was only 28 at the time and I also had HC. You probably already know but your siblings and children should be tested as their is a high chance they have it to. It worked well for me for years but because mine continued to grow it eventually effected my electrical and became so thick it could no longer pump. I had a heart transplant a year ago and doing well. Hopefully none of your family is one of the 4 percent who ends up where I did. Praying you are not in the 4 percent and continue to do well. Take care of yourself and watch for signs in your kids. Its amazing what can be done these days.
