Bloomington and Putnam IL | My GP thought she heard something on exam so she sent me in for a echo and EKG. The "results" came back as an enlarged heart so I had to see a cardiologist ASAP. I wasn't worried (feel great and ran a 22 minute 5K on Saturday) but my wife and daughter were. Nurse said it was the shortest history she ever took. Doctor said there wasn't much on exam or the tests so keep doing what you are doing and jokingly said to quit wasting his time. I'm pretty sure my heart is doing better than his since he was shorter than me and outweighed me by at least 100 pounds. In hind sight it is good to know my heart is OK considering I put it though quite a bit of stress with the weight lifting, push mowing, gardening and running.
