Middle Tennessee | I got a lot of insight as to what others think of the idea. The shop will be more like storage and light maintenance as I have a shop for the more heavy work. Next question is why do this? Well in a few years when I am not able to do the heavy stuff then I can still feel productive. Plus I can pull in to the shop and exit with no steps to navigate. The fire thing is real but remember I live in a 67 year old house with 67 year old wiring. Who knows?? What will I do with the house, rent it or having a place for a care giver. The smell of the feeding tractor is still a concern it is rank. Can I pressurerize the living quarters to keep smells out?? I have a friend that messed with codes on something similar. They cut off electricity and water.
