Starbuck Manitoba Canada | I know of an older farmer that wanted to move out of the house but still stay on the property. He built a shop and living quarters on top. Because of poor health he had the shop designed with a scissor lift set into a lowered area of the concert floor and thus had an elevator at floor level. It was profestionally finished and passed code. I thought it was a great idea. Elevators are expensive and a pain compared to a small lift. I have not looked at it in person but plan to as I think it is a great way to be able to remain on our property, build a shop, and have a nice living quarters for retirement. | |
