Bremen, KS | At one time I thought such an arrangement would be a good idea. Having been to a fire that involved a shop with recently added living quarters and seeing the results of other shop fires on this site, no way could I sleep easy in such an arrangement nor could I sleep easily sending someone else into such an arrangement. When I think of all the volatile stuff in a shop/shed/garage, I wouldn't even want a vehicle in an attached garage.
Of course, odds are low that anything bad will happen, but then there is that one time...
