was a plumber in the air force, then milked cows for 40 years, the cows left in august last year n i took a plumbing job, one thing we have run into is the brass is brittle due to taking the lead out of it, dont over tighten, we use pipe dope, n a couple wraps of teflon, for the tees n elbows underground stainless steel would be worth the peace of mind
