WI
Well controls are in the basement. I have a copper pipe coming in from underground to a tee where the pressure tank is connected and then up to the rest of the system from there.

It'd be peace of mind to put the line in originating from the basement with a valve there, it is seemingly more work, but probably the better long-term option.

I'd have to check into the boring, but that would be really nice. It's a lot of nice front yard and driveway between the house and buildings.

Filling the sprayer is the biggest and likely main use. Right now I can use both house hose spigots and can get the pump to run continuous, but that requires the sprayer to nearly be in the house to get both hoses to reach it. Each of those is 5/8" "home" looking hoses, so I'm guessing a 1" with no restriction would get me to free flow too.
