Here I would start with a surveyor. Especially if one worked on a neighboring lot they might already be familiar with that area.
They could explain what the boundaries are, and likely suggest a lawyer that works in that area.
In my opinion a lawyer would get a surveyor involved, so might as well start there. I would not get a surveyor, your posts that have been in the ground 40 years mark the line, if someone else want's to pay for a surveyor let them, a lawyer may be useful thou. |
