Subject: RE: Abandoned township road ownership

NE NEBRASKA
I live within 2 miles of three different counties. One is set up with township control of the roads. The other two still have township's but the county is split into three district's for county commissioners with county workers taking care if roads.

I just know when they abandoned roads they do paperwork to release there right away rights after all the notifications and meetings. The counties seem to rebuild bridges if a property owner has land on both side of a failed bridge. Otherwise those roads get abandoned or the one county will get put up road closed bridge out signs on each end of the road but will never actually maintain it ever again.
