I used to sell wood. Every one had their own idea.
I soon found out the fireplace folks wanted the cottonwood. They wanted a fire that lit easy and gave them something to do for a bit. They wanted it done shortly after they quit feeding it.
The folks that used wood for heat wanted the burr oak, walnut etc., with may be some cottonwood to get the fire going.
