Yes, it is pretty hard to ignore. I'm 75 now - you'll notice a big change soon (I'm sorry to say). When I was young, I bought the biggest Merc outboard for our Zodiac boat I could carry around myself. It was a twin 40hp that weighed (as I remember) 176# dry. It pushed the 15 1/2 ft. Zodiac that was heavily loaded pretty good. I remember rowing that boat down that arctic river where the wind never quit and saying (to the boat) - Ok, when we get back and I put that 40 on you, you'll go where I tell you to go, you SOB! Anyway, about 20 years ago, I traded that 40 for a 25. I think it was 132#. Now, I'm considering using only the 15 hp I have before I hurt myself.

Old Persian proverb (I've never forgot) - The dogs will bark, but the caravan moves on.

BTW - that old proverb applies to most everything - including politics.
