| Loosen up the tin foil hat. How do you think the would charge $900 to your bank account with just your acct #? You do realize it would take your routing number as well which is not on credit app. Did you not ask for credit apps from new customers when you worked at seed dealer? Have none of your input suppliers ever asked you to fill out a credit app before?
Most likely the 20k bag order they were going to eat plate charge but then you reduced the order by 75% so they needed to add it. So nothing shady about mentioning the plate charge before the order is completed and payment made. Maybe it was a honest mistake. Have you called the guy to talk about it? Or are you just going to trash the guy online and go somewhere else? Even 20k is a small bag order and ltl shipping cost could be more than the plate charge.
If you do print bags make it generic with your name and logo, sew label or sticker.
