Let me ask you this, a guy from a neighboring state asks to hunt your posted land. You usually dont let guys on but through conversation, you find out he's a farmer who grows the same crops you do. Are you more likely to let him hunt than a financial investor from the big city? The answer is yes and saying otherwise is a farce.
I wouldn’t take a man’s profession into account at all. I’ve let numerous people hunt and fish on my land and never once have I asked where they work.
Sounds like a typical police attitude to even consider that as an important factor.
