Im not saying that some dont act like that but if a cop hangs his badge out the window or says he's a cop, he is not respected by his peers. If you get recognized and a get a break, so be it. But if you think your job is going to get you out of a speeding ticket, times have changed.

You have to remember, there is over 800k cops in America. Its a low paying job in most cases that work bad hours. It doesnt take alot of education for most positions. To think there isnt going to be decent amount of turds hired with the turnover LE is experiencing is ignorant.

I got a taste of a side of law enforcement in a small town that’s of the unpleasant kind. When an officer stares at you with that cold kind of look in public on more than one occasion as though you’re some kind of prey, a person can sometimes sense there’s a problem. It was like this guy was trying to intimidate me and I didn’t know why. Never committed any crimes and never met him. But each time I found myself in that town he’d behave in an odd way. It wasn’t long that I figured that guy had some issues. He definitely put me on a list of his. After he began making it a real effort to follow me around in that town, a message was sent that his sorry *** was about to be in trouble. The following me around and intimidation tactics ceased.
