Correct in 1918 the first wave was not as deadly as the second which came Nov of 1918 at least in this part of world and country. People died in hours after showing signs not weeks. It will not go away till we either get immunity where enough have had it or a vaccine.
If that is the case with corona, we are relying heavily on a vaccine then. Probably be hard to meet the unprecedented demand for the vaccine we will likely see.
Side note: untold amounts of money await the first vaccine maker. Just imagine the scramble and positioning going on as we speak. |
