My biggest fear is that because the rural areas are / have been slow in corona virus cases to this point, our hospital ventilator equipment will be “re-deployed” to big city outbreak epicenters by governors like Cuomo.
then, because of our population dynamics of our higher percent of older citizens are at higher risk when/if civid19 gets a foothold. I fear big cities will have flattened yet extended curves of critical cases and deaths due to corona virus for months (yes plural).... then political overreach into healthcare really amplifies equipment misallocation/positioning/and deployment as rural area voter blocks mean nothing compared to big city/suburb voter districts esp. in upper level state and national elections. | |
