| I have a White 6000 series front fold. Pros, seed meters are very simple, easy to set, parts are common with JD and Kinze. (I can buy the heavy opener disks at JD for $26 for example). Cons, they don't lift as high as a JD, the seed meters are very sensitive to driveline vibration (rough bearings etc.) You really need round seed to get an excellent stand. But you can buy a nice used 8000 series for a lot less than a JD or Kinzie, at least here in Iowa. | |
