Northern New York | I can pretty consistently wean 7-7.5 per room. Once in a while we hit 8-8.5 but that is rare. A room is 5 sows. We generally farrow a room per week.
Edit, I didn't word that well. We average 7-7.5 per sow in a group of 5 sows. We have some sows that farrow 10-12 live born per litter, but other sows have 5-6 live per litter. I a very happy if we wean 40 pigs in a room of 5 sows.
