red river valley se of fargo | Hello, I bought a whole hog from a neighbor kid last fall that was 330 lbs. Every cut off of the animal has been fantastic except the ham. I've tried several preparations and it always comes out dry, tough, and fairly bland. This is the first hog I've had done at this butcher and he does a great job on alot of beef for me. Anyway I have alot of hams left in the freezer and I can't figure out what to do with it. Maybe crock pot the heck out of it? Normally that would be a mortal sin with good ham but I am running out of ideas. Anybody got an idea? |
