There have been 100's of results posted over the years here, just search them out.
For us we stopped years ago and as of now have 0 intent on going back as we saw no, none, zero yield advantage.
If someone wants to put it on, fine....if not, fine.
Put it on with the planter or put it on with a spreader. Whats the difference? One way or another you are getting it on or you have a poor corn crop. I put some of my sulfur this way. I put all mu zinc this way. A little N. A bunch of P and its 2 inches away from a baby root. Its very easy to apply. It takes minutes to load. Its very easy to clean after. I'm going to use x amount of N, x amount of P, x amount of K, x amount of Zinc, x amount of S. I like that little ribbon of liquid that close to my little corn plant. I still can't see why anyone cares how the above products get out there. If you are growing good corn, all the above products are getting to the plant somehow. This is the same stupid conversation as always. | |
