S.E. Washington | You need to figure out what works for you and on your ground. That means running variety trials, population trials, fertility trials, and tillage trials, ON YOUR GROUND. That is the ONLY way to know what works on your ground.
I have planted the exact same variety on the same day with the same style of planter across from the neighbor and seen a 30+ bushel difference in corn due to farming practices. Get out there and test, test, test, for yourself.
Now as for starter, "here" it's one piece of the puzzle and wouldn't be without it. | |
