I have to chuckle a little bit when I hear “back in my day” stories. It’s like a right of passage for every generation to say the next is just so lazy and doesn’t know what real work/ethic/etc is. Imagine the folks who hand harvested, what they’d have to say about those that mechanized. Then cabs...then god forbid we got radios and air conditioning. SMH.
Back around 00-02 when my dad first got autosteer, there weren’t any others with it in the immediate are. Many people thought it was ridiculous, lazy and something that “they” would never “waste money on”. Didn’t take too many years and everyone had autosteer and loved it. Change scares people. |
