Leesburg, Ohio

Location plays a big, role, tho. Here, I think a chopping head would just create a cold, wet, mat of gunk, while requiring a higher equipment cost and higher fuel and repairs.

For us, a stalk devastator to knock down the stalks, and a quick pass in the fall with a VT, is a better, cheaper solution that really gives us a nicer seedbed in the spring, and nicer harvesting conditions in the fall.
