Beresford, SD | Got in a load of 5wt weaned hfs. Ranch is south of Gordon. That particular ranch ran 500 mamma cows. Owned one tractor, a 4440 with loader and rear spear, used it to feed hay. (Was the only iron on the place, period!). They weaned all the calves with bale rings and fed a little grain with 5 gallon buckets. WOW! Is all I'll say. They have been here 24 hrs., late afternoon today, for fun, I grabbed 2 5 gallon buckets and they followed me around the pen! Teddy Bears!!! Good cattle in your country, not to mention some awesome cattlemen. Dad has always made these trips in the past, glad I went this year!
