I use NH3 side dress with a mounted bar and tank. Lots of transferring material, but works good in the hills. Try loosing the mole knives. I have had the best luck sealing with just a thin knife. The mole knives work good for fall or spring, but side dress the ground is different. The mole knives loosen the ground too much I think.
