You guys feel free to run the flighting-to-rear-stripper clearance that tight if you want, BUT...
IF you EVER leave it parked in the mid-day sun for an hour or so, the sunshine heats the top of the auger and warps the auger. The flighting then catches the rear stripper, which is angled so it wedges TIGHTER when it starts to bend. Makes a real mess. It takes a couple of hours of quality metal-working time to straighten the stripper and the flighting out.
