Subject: 925F building up on cutter bar. Any suggestions?

SC IA
Just bought a 925F with a full finger auger and I’m honestly not that impressed as it still seems to build up with beans on the ends and runs a slug in like the old 920 did. Reel down and back as far as it will go, doesn’t matter. The reel is currently in the 3rd from front hole so we are going to put it in another hole forward to tilt the teeth back some more to see if that helps. Flighting is also square on the edge. Adjusting the auger height and front/back probably wouldn’t help much would it? It’s about 1/2” from fixed back stripper and could actually stand to be lowered a little but wasn’t sure if it’d help or make it worse. Probably 1” of clearance between flighting and floor stripper. Any other suggestions? I’ve heard full finger augers are the cats meow so surely something isn’t right
