Subject: agree on the stripper plate clearance

sw corner ia.
I also have a 925f, took a little while to chase this problem down but once I shoved the auger back till it was touching, then backed off just enough that it will turn freely, this bunching thing went completely away. I now have very close to zero clearance.

square off that auger flighting and leave it kind of rough. make sure you have sharp sickle sections/guards with all the same clearance to the backing plates.

edit.. I also have a full fingered auger and it does work a ton better than my old 920 that only had them in the middle.
