Beresford, SD
Neighbor talks way over my head when he goes off comparing amino acid structure, fat contents, rumen available protein, soluable protein, compatabillity with other feed stuffs, etc.....i trust what he places values on. I will talk to him tomorrow and get a better grasp personally when he stated our home raised beans have a value in our bins of at least $10/bushel. Just passing on his justifications for doing what he's doing, We started having this discussion when cash beans broke $8, and now thier 7.20 locally. He's going to change rations as soon as beans are harvested. I apologize for not being able to put the numbers to it like he can on the spot. I will as soon as I understand everything he's telling me.
