Have you priced the cost of building a HOUSE lately??
My point being, that you're still building the same septic, stud walls, sheeting, moisture barrier, windows, insulation, insulated slab, plumbing, electrical, drywall, trim, cabinets, carpet, and paint.
All the OP would be doing is building a house with a large attached garage. Simply having this attached shop doesn't lower the price of the house any. Besides, that metal barn siding is probably more expensive than conventional vinyl.
Don't kid yourself into thinking it will be any cheaper on a square foot basis. |
