I remember 03-10 and a bunch of cows coming to slaughter and lowering beef cattle prices. It seems like anytime an agricultural practice is insured producers get big and squeeze the profits out. I think you're better off as a young producer figuring out what you can do better or cheaper than others currently doing it and go for it.
