My Harley Davidson uses a cogged V belt like that one, and it works just fine. Jack rabbit starts, high speeds, you name it. I have had no problems with it and like it. It is clean, quiet, and positive. I wouldn't worry about it. My life rides on it.

AGREED,

you guys need to find something else to find fault in LOL, like the grain prices :(.

Supercharger belts are of similar design and hold up just fine as well. Time will tell if this is a good idea, but I for one will take a belt over a chain for most applications any day. my opinion. My polaris (turboed ) snowmobile uses a similar belt and has yet to fail and it is under lots of shock loads. I am sure the list goes on and on.

At the pulls in Bowling Green a couple weeks ago, I'd say there were 8-10 supercharger belts broken.
