Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle

WildBuckwheat - 9/2/2017 23:33 Chains have a high maintenance cost, do not handle shock load well, have backlash, have speed/ratio limitations, stretch, require lubrication, and do not transmit power smoothly (pitch line rise/fall. Just line a single U joint doesn't transmit power smoothly). Timing belts have no maintenance beyond yearly inspection, do not have backlash, work in greater ratios/speeds, do not stretch, do not require lubrication, and transmit power smoothly (pitch line is constant). Generally the sprockets are never replaced. A little change is ok people.

Thank you! someone whoe finally understands! Theres nothing wrong with what they did, it will be just fine people
