North Central Illinois | I guess every area is different but around here I wouldn't let anyone who would work for $12 an hour in any of our equipment. The one possible exception to that would perhaps be a high school kid. With the right training and supervision some of them are pretty good and they would probably be thrilled with $12 an hour. If they were that good though I would probably give them $15. We pay our seasonal truckers and field help $20 an hour. These are people we know we can count on and have been with us before. I am glad we are not in the position of having to rely on steering wheel holders that get paid $10 or $12 an hour. It almost never ends well. | |
