NW MN | I am operating on the assumption that he's looking for guy who can pin out harnesses, rebuild engines and transmissions, diagnose whatever, weld, fab, etc. Maybe I am a bit high, but with my day job I'm steadily approached by equipment dealers, car dealers, manufacturers looking for students to join their operations. Many offer to pay for tech school, and offer starting wage around $20-25hr after graduation plus benefits. Experienced good mechanics can pull close to $40 at the right dealership "here". I'm sure there are guys who work for less though.
