Jack of all trades; master of none is my area. 45-65 bpa wht year in and out. 40-100 dl corn. 180-220 irrigated. 20-50 bpa beans 60-70 irrigated. 60-100 milo. SC Ks is good at no rain in July august and night time temp that give only minor relief from 95-100° temp with an accompanied winds. Sandy soils that are ideal to plant into, but need frequent small rains to avoid leaching of fert and herbicides while avoiding floods. Rents are 35-75/ac and some high flying farmers are paying 75+ to have ground. Typical grass greener stuff.

I do know that my opinion would be different if I didn't have 60k in operating debt. A high reason for that is growing 300% in a year and all previously poorly managed ground that is cash rent.

I appreciate all the sound advice and keep your head ups!
