At 62 your parents will need income for many yrs., Can you work some equipment sharing/ustom work, ect. to supplement your incomes? Don't know profit margin on dryland crops and livestock is an up and down cycle....I will soon be 65 and have a Son farming and its harder than I thought to get farm passed down , not burden him with debt and still have retirement income........don't know if its possible but if there is off farm income available to go along with farming its the safe route.........sometimes we can plan everything out but still have too adjust to life...good luck.........What does your Dad think ?
