Aberdeen MS | on my desktop for about the last 4 yrs. HP all in one 23" touch screen. The wireless card went south while under warranty about 6 months after I bought it. HP said send the computer to them for warranty no charge, they even would pay the shipping. Sent me a prepaid box to send it in.
Caveat was they would install new card, wipe the hard drive and restore to factory software. I didn't want to get rid of all the bloat ware the second time around so I just stayed wired to my router.
Moved 1000 miles and only way to get net here was ATT MIFI or satellite. I went with the MIFI which has no ethernet connection capability. Dongle has been working just fine. | |
