Do you believe that paraquat is saver on rhisoshere as a burndown? I have a client who has been using only paraquat in front of his planting but his yields are not really any better than anyone elses. But this year, his corn is perfectly uniform and that is very rare in my area. I am thinking about using normal to higher rates of selective preemergence products and trying to limit the post applications as much as possible. I saw a client put 1.5 qt of RUPMAX on V6 GT tech corn over the top for perennial suppression, that was 1 pt over the label and I am convinced he has lost 1/2 his yield potentail. That corn was "frozen" for 4 weeks and is only now greening up. That product and that GT technology are not as safe as manufacturer suggests. | |
