jackson county WI | Don't see how it would be possible at this point. Started in 03 with 10 Hereford steers and a 270 Leyland gramps give me to feed with. Saved enough money to put down payment on boxcar magnum and started to do custom work. Had 40 acres I had rented and paid for inputs. Hit drought first year and no crop insurance. Been to bank for operating loan every year since although significant more acres and cattle.
See young guys starting now under daddy wings and if they weren't under the wing there is no way they would fly with there ego and attitude. Glad I started by myself as there was only one person to blame when things went wrong thru the years. | |
