Fairbury, NE (Southeast) | That's a great opportunity. If you can tie that up in a multi-year agreement like MW suggested, with some sort of yearly increase you can get a great start building a respectable herd. A multi year deal is the only way IMO you can start getting cross fence in and water if needed.

Edit: just to put in perspective have heard of good pasture in NC Kansas bringing just shy of 500/pair this summer. Not sure what kind of pencil they use but I don't have one that sharp.
