It is America! PAbeef made a deal and is holding up his end - cleaning up the downed trees on the fence(an expense) and paying $1500. Congratulations!

Some landlords have made up there mind who they want on their property long before it is available. Maybe it is the little things (like cleaning up the downed trees) that gets a farm rented.

Maybe the owner wants it cleaned up so he can rent it for a higher price next year. So be it.

If he is in his 70's and none of his kids want to farm he has probably seen PAbeef doing what he wished his kids would do. To some there is more to life than top dollar and the highest rent.
