North Mo.
Ok maybe you should not have cow herd. just buy stockers and run in the summer. I do not know your cost but here in Mo. it is much cheaper and more profitable to graze as long as possible. That said if I am told correctly your summer gains on grass will blow us away. Cooler summers, zero fescue what more could one ask for if a grazing stocker? Ben
P,S. I do know of cow herds up your way that do pretty much graze all winter long. They also feed some supplement at least thats what they say. I know I am not going up there in the winter to find out.
