North Cental Mo.
Well Ben. I have actually been to one of his schools, I may even still have the book from it. First thing he talked about was comparing mig vs continual. Same acres alike forage 6 weight steers in small acreages. 10 steers in the mig 9 in the other, multiple tests. The 10 steers in the mig made more money than the 9. But if you actually read the results the 9 out gained the 10 in the time frame. When asked about this by me he was very offended and just said it wouldn't work. Later on he went off on fertilizer, he seems you can continually walk off pounds, but never put anything back in the soil. My summation was he was being paid for research and basically had to come up with something to keep being funded. MU finally snuffed him out. I'm not saying some of his stuff has no merit, but he is and always will be 90% full of manure.
