Of course it is cheaper to buy hay most years than raise it. The exception was in the winter of 2012 in this next of the woods no hay or stockpile period. And by the way Jim is not talking about buying hay. He will readily admit bought hay for the most part normally is a decent deal but with the long term goal of no hay. Ben
