Looks like a very nice job. I always like seeing a field that has been plowed right, and can appreciate it oh so much more after driving balewagons on some that were not. What do you do after the disc to smooth and firm the field before planting? It looks like you are farming straight, do you end up planting or haying with the pivot tracks? Most our soil will settle and rut, so we have gone to doing everything the way we hay it, in the case of pivots that means in a circle. The savings of no till would be great, but you only get one chance to get it smooth. Can't see anyone who has spent any time swathing, raking, baling, hauling a rough field not wanting them as smooth as a sheet of glass. Once again that looks really nice.
