Fruita CO
Obviously you've never been to the irrigated valleys of W. Colorado...some of the ground here is affectionately called "tiger ****"-adobe-clay that would be like pavement after a few years of no-till. One of the accepted practices is to rip w/D9 Cats every few years, about 5 ft. deep in the winter to break up the pan. Call it barbaric if you must, that's what works...no-till has been tried on a limited basis, but not continuously.
