The G & S roll will "officially" start Jan 8th and ends on the 14th,right in the middle is report day. This is when index funds re-balancing is "OFFICIALLY" done. Last week I heard they need to buy a net 100k of corn.
The trouble I have with this is
The "OFFICIALLY" part,,,everyone and their Uncle knows this is coming
With out hacking into the "books" of every fund,how does ANYONE REALLY know what they need to buy of sell ?
And is this done before or after those official 5 days ?
Are there those buying corn right now in hopes of playing the up side in corn in the roll ? | |
