ncia | thAnks to 1234 and jon for your views. I applaud the work you both (and sat and maizeing, and tara, and ray) and taking the time to comment here. In north iowa not a lot of corn moving off the farm. just a slow steady trickle. I definitely don't have the crop I usually have and neither does our area. we all had a "better than expected" crop, but the empty pipeline and somewhat lighter tw's while have an affect at some point. Also heard that sow slaughter is significantly down so future pigs (hopefully with pedvirus immunity) will be gobbling up this crop locally. It's the new version of the old game of who's got it and who needs it. | |
